Dr. Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy was born on July 8, 1949, Mr. Reddy was known as Y.S.R., was the present Chief Minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy hails from Pulivendula, a small town from Cuddapah district of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Dr.Reddy belongs to the Indian National Congress party and was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Pulivendula Assembly Constituency of Cuddapah District. He was as Chief Minister since May 14, 2004 to 2009. He served as the leader of the Opposition in the House for the previous term during which N. Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister. Y.S.R. is a medical science graduate from the M.R. College of Gulbargaa. He did his House-Surgency in Sri Venkateshwara Medical College, Tirupathi. Upon completion of his MBBS degree, he served as Medical Officer in Church of South India's Campbell Hospital in Jammalamadugu in the Diocese of Nandyal for a brief period of time. In 1973 he established a 70-bed charitable hospital at Pulivendula in the name of his father, Sri Y. S. Raja Reddy. The hospital continues to serve the poor to date.

A doctor by profession, Reddy made his debut in politics as a Youth Congress Leader. It is interesting to note that he and his present opponent, TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu, made their debut at the same time (1978) in the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly as young legislators of the Congress party. They both worked together as Ministers in Sri. Tanguturi Anjaiah’s cabinet. In fact Sri Chandrababu Naidu acknowledges him as his mentor in politics.

Y.S.R. had an active political career over a quarter of a century and has been representing his party on different fora. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Cuddapah constituency four times, and a similar number of times to the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly, from the Pulivendula constituency. He twice served as the APCC President. He remains one of the very few national politicians who have never lost an election.

Dev Patel is born 23rd April 1990, His mother Anita Patel is a carer and his father Raj Patel an IT consultant. Dev is a British film and television actor as well as a martial artist. As an actor, Dev Patel is known for his performances as Anwar Kharral in the teen drama series Skins and as main protagonist, Jamal Malik in Danny Boyle's critically acclaimed and multiple Academy Award winning film Slumdog Millionaire (2008), for which Patel won a number of awards, including a Critics' Choice Award and Screen Actors Guild Award, and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. As a martial artist, he is a black belt in Taekwondo and was a bronze medalist at the 2004 AIMAA World Championships in Dublin.

Patel began his acting career in late 2006, when he auditioned for the E4 TV teen drama series Skins. After two auditions, he was cast in the role of Anwar Kharral, a British Pakistani Muslim teenager. According to fellow actors Mike Bailey (who played Sid Jenkins) and Hannah Murray (who played Cassie Ainsworth), the characterization of Anwar was partly based on the personality of Dev Patel and the role was written specifically for him after he was cast in Skins. The first series of the show aired in early 2007 and went on to receive two nominations at the BAFTA Television Awards. Patel resumed his role as Anwar for the second series of Skins, which aired in early 2008.

Dev went on to receive a number of awards for his performance, including a British Independent Film Award, National Board of Review (NBR) Award, Chicago Film Critics Association Award, and two Black Reel Awards for Best Actor and Best Breakthrough Performance. On 18 December 2008, it was announced that Patel was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. The award eventually went posthumously to the late Heath Ledger for his performance in The Dark Knight, though Dev Patel did win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, which he shared with ten other cast members from Slumdog Millionaire. On 8 January 2009, Dev Patel was honoured with the Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Performer.

Manmohan Singh (born 26 September 1932) in Gah, Punjab (now in Chakwal District, Pakistan), is the 17th and current Prime Minister of the Republic of India. After the India-Pakistan Partition, he migrated to Amritsar. He has attained his bachelor's and master's degree in 1952 and 1954 respectively, standing first throughout his academic career. He went on to get a master's degree from St. John's College, Cambridge University, where he won the Wright's Prize for distinguished performance in 1955 and 1957. He was also one of the few recipients of the Wrenbury scholarship. In 1962, Singh completed his D.Phil from the University of Oxford Nuffield College. The topic of his doctorate thesis was "India’s Export Trends and Prospects for Self-Sustained Growth". In 1997, the University of Alberta presented him with an Honorary Doctor of Laws. The University of Oxford awarded him an honorary Doctor of Civil Law degree in June 2005, and in October 2006, the University of Cambridge followed with the same honor. St John's College and the University of Cambridge further honored him by naming a PhD Scholarship after him, the Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarship.

Matthew Lawrence Hayden is a former Australian cricketer. Hayden (nicknames: Haydos, Unit) is a powerful and aggressive left hand opening batsman retired from international cricket on 13 January 2009 subsequent to being dropped from the Australian one day squad selected to play South Africa.
